Alternative Packaging
There are times when a glass bottle just doesn’t make sense.
Like anywhere there’s water nearby—the lake, swimming pool or boat; the ballfield, golf course or hiking trail.
We design packaging for new formats to resonate with the context and lifestyle where they’ll be experienced. Tetras, boxes, cans…and new ones coming up all the time!
Sometimes the goal is to simply minimize waste in the creation and use of the packaging.
But always the goal is to create sustainable business for our clients.

CASCADIAN OUTFITTERS
Adventure Awaits
We took a wine made for adventure and gave it packaging ready to go wherever the trail leads.
The Tetra Pak made it ultra-portable; our job was to make it stand out. Clean lines, bold color and a modern, approachable feel positions Cascadian Outfitters as the perfect companion for life’s great adventures.

Grab & Go
Wine Made Simple
Designed for a major convenience store chain, Grab & Go takes a lighthearted, no-nonsense approach to wine. Built on a “Wine 101” philosophy, it simplifies varietals for easy recognition—Cabernet Sauvignon becomes Cab, Chardonnay becomes Chard. Food pairings are just as straightforward, using playful illustrations that highlight convenience store favorites like popcorn, fried chicken and pizza.
Vibrant colors and casual, approachable typography make the packaging fun, friendly and impossible to overlook.

Ice Harbor Brewing
Evolving Together
Ice Harbor Brewing came to us with their packaging challenge: how to translate their fresh rebrand into designs that would resonate with hard-working Tri-Citians who value authenticity.
We dove into their brand guidelines, expanding the visual language with custom illustrations that reinforced product names.
But Ice Harbor wasn’t standing still. When they transitioned from glass bottles to cans, we retooled the labels for the new format. Next, they developed a full line of seltzers that needed packaging that felt completely different, while remaining unmistakably Ice Harbor.
Each evolution pushed us to think strategically while honoring their style—creating a cohesive brand system that works across every format and product line.

Ice Harbor Hard Seltzer
Simply Refreshing
When Ice Harbor Brewing created a new line of hard seltzers, they asked us to design the packaging. Taking cues from their beer labels, we made these labels lighter, brighter and simply refreshing!

BENTON HILLS
Elevated Expectations
Boxed wines carry a budget reputation, but Benton Hills needed packaging that would communicate quality wine worthy of restaurant wine lists. We elevated the visual language to signal that this house wine delivers on taste, not just convenience—proving that great wine doesn’t always come in a bottle.
