Basel Cellars
Walla Walla & Woodinville, WA
We designed a five-tier product packaging suite for Basel Cellars.
Their house wine, 2901 features a lock and key, and motifs borrowed from the entry gate to the estate.
The Reserve tier features a screen-printed bottle embellished with a hand-dyed metal label, complemented with a hand-dipped wax seal.
The estate series design features an apparent cut out (that isn’t) to give the appearance of a three-part label without the need for quite the precision (and resulting cost) to bottle. The overall appearance is of luxurious low-contrast subtlety, printed on a striking metallic paper.
