Elk Haven

At Elk Haven Winery, every bottle tells a story—of place, heritage and the people who shaped the journey. We initially crafted a visual identity that balances these elements across three tiers:

For white wines, we created a transparent label. An elk stands proudly on the front label, while the back label—viewed through the bottle—reveals the landscape of the Yakima River just outside the winery’s Benton City, Washington tasting room.

The core tier takes a more serious tone, featuring the Elk Haven logo as a focal point. A combination of a wine glass and elk antlers, the logo is enhanced by the use of two shades of foil.

The reserve wine labels are designed to honor important individuals in the owners’ lives. We used each individual’s cypher as a design element behind the Elk Haven logo.

As Elk Haven expanded their lineup to include Sparkling wine and a Velvet Red Blend that loosely fall within the parameters of their Reserve tier.

Miles and Lindy wanted their sparkling wines to honor Lindy’s grandmother, Leona—a woman whose grace left a lasting impression on everyone she met. We crafted designs for White and Rosé Sparkling wines that capture her timeless elegance. The back label simply says, “The Epitome of Elegance.”
